On Friday night we have a rehearsal dinner.
On Friday and Saturday there is a family reunion that will be golfing. The course will be full and play will be slow.
Members are still welcome to play, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
Nothing special going on Sunday or Monday, just holiday weekend golf. If you are a member that needs a cart this weekend, please call ahead to check to make sure we have one available.
We are in the process of updating the clubhouse. The kitchen and bar area are torn apart and we are currently waiting for the kitchen and bar floor to be grouted. When we are done we will have an updated kitchen but will not have an oven. The cost of the oven, exhaust hood, and other changes that come with a commercial oven were too great at this time. We will still be able serve some food, but will just be a little more limited on what we can serve.
We will also be getting new carpet throughout the clubhouse, new laminate flooring in the bathrooms, painting the bathrooms, and dressing up the bar area a little bit. Because of all these changes we are not having the January Annual Meeting. Instead we hope to host the Annual Meeting sometime in April/May when the clubhouse is complete.
