9 Hole Couples Tournament this Saturday: Golf will actually start at 3:00pm instead of 5 like I previously mentioned. It will be best shot with your partner. $20 per team which will include some small prizes and the dinner fixings/dessert to follow golf at approximately 530ish, bring your own meat to grill. The course will not be closed down during this time but it will be a shotgun start at three which will slow things down a little.
We are in the process of updating the clubhouse. The kitchen and bar area are torn apart and we are currently waiting for the kitchen and bar floor to be grouted. When we are done we will have an updated kitchen but will not have an oven. The cost of the oven, exhaust hood, and other changes that come with a commercial oven were too great at this time. We will still be able serve some food, but will just be a little more limited on what we can serve.
We will also be getting new carpet throughout the clubhouse, new laminate flooring in the bathrooms, painting the bathrooms, and dressing up the bar area a little bit. Because of all these changes we are not having the January Annual Meeting. Instead we hope to host the Annual Meeting sometime in April/May when the clubhouse is complete.
